i just went through the box i’ve put all of the cards i received from high school, on. it’s amazing what it feels like to go through and read them now… the letters from ex-boyfriends, the pictures and the little notes from people i haven’t heard from in years. i feel so grateful for every person that has come in to my life, good friends and not so good friends… amazing boys and so not amazing boys. i am at that point where i just keep thinking, if i knew then what i know now… it would have been so much easier! i definitely wouldn’t have worried so much or let my world feel like it was ending if my heart got broken. there are some really great letters in there, i miss a lot of those people. makes me think about what i will think about my life right now, in ten years. makes me want to enjoy life more and do less of all that worrying it is that i do so well.

after one of the most disappointing days in my life, maybe i am learning how to be a grown up after all… how boring, right?

i am trying to get as much done in this two week break so that i can go back to school refocused and ready…clean clean clean oil changes, new kitchen tables so that i can have my desk back, etc etc….then the lake!
